Whilst the resort gets busy at this peak time, it accommodates it well with famously efficient lifts able to transport snow lovers rapidly around the mountain. Most lifts lead up from the ski hub at Idalp and with the high-speed of the lifts, you won’t be waiting long for your ride. The higher you go, the fewer crowds you’re likely to see - try skiing the runs at Pardatschgratbahn to avoid the crowds. Large mountain restaurants such as Pardorama at Idalp act as an ideal meeting place and an excellent range of restaurants, nightclubs and loads of lively bars cater to everyone’s après needs.
Families can take advantage of the excellent Schneesports-Akademie ski school which gives children an introduction to the slopes in a fun and safe environment. Children as young as three are welcomed at their kindergarten making it easy for parents to explore the rest of the mountain. Keep an eye out for hotels near the ski school meeting place or main lift if you have children taking lessons and ask us about accommodation with childcare services if you have children who are too young to ski.
