If you are looking for longer than a 7-night ski holiday, then we have you covered. There are a select number of options available for 8, 9, 10- & 14-night ski holidays depending on what it is you are looking for. We here at SNO understand that sometimes 7 nights just isn’t enough, so we are here to help, whether you are looking to extend your stay in the same resort, hit up two or more resorts in one trip or even extend your trip with a city break. Most of the main ski suppliers such as Inghams, Ski Total and Ski World, only offer 7-night breaks; however, all of these can be extended to 14-night breaks depending on availability. If you are looking to do 14 nights covering Christmas and New Year, we would recommend booking early as these are very popular dates.
Flexi Ski will be the best option if you are looking to add a few nights on to your stay as they offer tailor-made packages allowing for a wide range of durations. With the tailor-made packaging that is available with Flexi Ski it means that flights are bought in live and transfers are added privately to allow for the flexibility. This does, however, mean you will be paying more than the standard 7-night packages which usually utilise charter flights and shared coach transfers. Flexiski have a small collection of chalets available in France and offer a wide range of hotels in Austria, Italy, France, Norway, and Switzerland.
Club Med, the home of all-inclusive ski holidays, also operate with a live flight and transfer system allowing for more flexibility on holiday durations. Club Med holidays do appear initially as more expensive but do remember that all their holidays include flights, transfers, accommodation, full board basis, open bar, ski lessons and evening entertainment. The only thing to add on top of your holiday cost is equipment hire or ski carriage and any drinks or snacks you purchase when out on the mountain. Club Med offer some fantastic resorts across France, Italy, and Switzerland.
Canada is another option for a longer duration ski trip. It is a longer flight to Canada than Europe - you are looking at around 9 hours depending on which resort you are heading to, the time difference can also take a few days to adjust to. With this in mind, we do recommend that you book for at least 10 nights to make the most of this big trip. The fantastic resorts on offer in Canada are Whistler, Banff, Lake Louise, Tremblant and Fernie. View 7, 10, 11 & 14 night packages to Canada.
