The terrain is best suited to skiers looking to test their limits in the largest ski area in Switzerland, the 4 Valleys. Val Thorens, Tignes and Cervinia are also great options for early season skiing in December due to their high, snow-sure ski areas.

Look out for these events on your ski holiday in December:
