If you're after a peaceful stay surrounded by snowy forests, these cabin-style apartments are just the ticket. They're dotted around the Salla ski area, tucked between the trees for that authentic Finnish feel. And when it's time to ski, you can hop on your shuttle bus to the slopes.

Wood-clad walls, comfy sofas and a wood burner add to the cosy feel, while big windows let in the light and snow-covered forest views. The kitchen’s got all you need to whip up tasty meals, with added extras like a dishwasher to keep things easy. Best of all, each cabin comes with its own sauna – so you can unwind the proper Finnish way.

Stays here are self-catering, with a stop-off at the supermarket on your way to resort to stock up on supplies for the week. If you fancy a break from the cooking, Middle of Nordic’s Restaurant Kaira Café in the resort centre has a tempting breakfast and dinner menu and a handy delivery service.

All apartments are non-smoking and have a kitchen with oven, hob, fridge, freezer coffee machine, microwave, toaster and dishwasher, as well as a fireplace, private sauna, TV, hairdryer and free WiFi. Please note: It is not possible to request a particular apartment name or location for these apartments. The quality of accommodation is the same and you’ll be able to hop on the free shuttle bus to the slopes from all of them too.
