Chamonix Half Term holidays
February is usually one of Cham’s best months in terms of snow, so you’re likely to enjoy some of the world’s best skiing in the best conditions on a holiday at half term.
Families taking advantage of the week off school are well looked after in Chamonix. The tuition here is excellent if anyone is needing lessons – make sure you book as early as possible as this is a popular week, particularly if you want lessons in the morning. Various childcare options are available for children too young for ski school – ask us about accommodation with childcare to make your holiday easier. Experienced families should consider getting a guide for a trip around the mountains in expert hands.
Opt for a catered chalet or hotel if you don’t want to have to worry about preparing meals. Self-catering isn’t much hassle in Chamonix, thanks to our apartments being close to supermarkets and eateries. Wherever you choose to stay, opt for a package with flights and transfers for money-saving, hassle-free booking and a swift journey to the resort - Chamonix is just over an hour’s transfer from Geneva airport meaning you won’t spend too much time on the road! Self-drive packages including channel crossings are also available – just select ‘Self Drive’ instead of an airport in your search. You can also select ‘Independent Travel’ if you want to book accommodation on its own.
