Arinsal Half Term holidays
If you’re fed up with the massive lift lines and poor queuing etiquette associated with larger resorts over half term then head to Arinsal for a holiday with a difference. The modern lift infrastructure is capable of handling the increased crowds with ease, and this far into the season there’s usually more than enough snow to go round. There are plenty of non-skiing activities to keep the kids entertained as well; alongside ski biking, sledging and husky sledding the snow snake is usually a family favourite- small sleds are loosely attached together to create a helter-skelter of a ride down the slope! Most of the local restaurants serve family friendly European food- La Pampa has a great pizza menu- and the reasonable prices make eating out with whole family a much more appealing prospect. You’ll end up surprised by how much you save over the week- everything from accommodation to ski passes to drinks are cheaper than in the Alps. With flights servicing Andorra landing in a variety of regional airports you won’t experience the same bedlam as you would in some of the more major mainland ones, so take advantage of this and book a holiday that includes flights and transfers as part of the package.
