On an annual basis, Valloire's average frozen precipitation is 450cm.

This natural weather-created snowfall is helped along with 400 snow guns or "cannons" on 50km of piste - that's over 30% of the total length of Valloire trails.

Off-piste snowboarding and sking is allowed and of course this has the secondary effect of reducing the wear and tear on snow condition on the pisted runs.
