This accommodation was brilliant for what we needed. It wasn’t too far a walk to the skiing, they do run a shuttle bus but we walked every day as by the time everyone had got onto the bus it was easier to make our own way. Tantalus Lodge Resort Summary

The Tantalus Lodge is in a quiet location, just 5 minutes’ walk from the village centre and the gondolas for both Blackcomb and Whistler mountains. Or you can jump on the free ski shuttle to get there and back instead.

The 2-bedroom condos have plenty of space to spread out, with separate bedrooms and living rooms, plus two bathrooms. In the evenings, relax in front of the fire and rustle up some dinner in the full kitchen – there’s a supermarket in the village where you can stock up for the week.

And don’t miss taking a dip in the big outdoor pool or soaking in the hot tubs. Need anything else? Just ask the 24-hour guest services team.

All apartments have a full kitchen with a toaster, microwave, four hobs, oven, fridge, kettle and dishwasher, dining area, two bathrooms (one is en suite), hairdryer, wood fireplace, satellite TV, free WiFi, safe and balcony or terrace.

When you arrive, a pre-authorisation of approx. $100 is added to your card to cover any spending during your stay. When you check out, you’ll pay the real value and the pre-authorisation will be cancelled.

"Not posh but all you need for a good hol"

This accommodation was brilliant for what we needed. It wasn’t too far a walk to the skiing, they do run a shuttle bus but we walked every day as by the time everyone had got onto the bus it was easier to make our own way. Everything was clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We self catered most of the time and just ate out for a treat. There’s a supermarket just down the road, you’ve got a wee kitchenette which isn’t greatly stocked if you want to cook huge gourmet meals but for some simple cooking it’s fine. Our place had two bedrooms, one had ensuite and then there was also a bathroom so it worked really well. There were no skis allowed in the apartment but you have two locked secure units for storing stuff (one when you go out the front door and the next on the other side of the road). We had access to the pool and hot tubs which my friend used a lot – we couldn’t tear her away from the hot tub! You also have a laundry room so there really is everything you need for a good holiday.
