From the minute you walk into the Sport Hotel Arabba you'll instantly get a feel for its warm hospitality. The hotel has a long tradition of welcoming British skiers and is a firm favourite of guests. It has the perfect mix of classic Alpine decor and modern comforts. The log fire creates a cosy lounge setting where you can relax after a day out on the slopes with a drink from the bar. You might even be lucky enough to catch some live piano music here too. The food is a real highlight. You’ll have loads to choose from at breakfast from freshly baked bread and fruit to eggs and bacon, giving you all the energy you’ll need for a day in the Dolomites. You’ll have dinner in the elegant setting of La Stube Bianca, where you can choose delicious traditional meals from the à la carte menu. They’ve got an amazing wine cellar with over 700 different wines to choose from too – they’ll be more than happy to give you recommendations.
The hotel's in a prime location for accessing the Burz trails, with the Burz chairlift just over the road. It’s also easy to ski back close to the hotel, where you’ll have your own heated ski locker to store your equipment. In the evenings you’ll find yourself a short walk from the centre of town if you fancy a little wander. Oh and did we mention the superb spa? We loved the option to relax in the whirlpool after a long day on the mountains.

•Pretty mountain village •High altitude skiing •Jaw-dropping scenery
It’s no surprise that Arabba has such a loyal following of dedicated skiers and boarders. A charming little village high up in the heart of the Dolomites, it has fantastic ski links, the best snow around and an infectiously easy-going vibe. We love the traditional Ladin charm and character and as for the location, the scenery speaks for itself.
