Generally, we’re talking 7-night Sunday to Sunday packages with return flights included (mostly from London Gatwick but Manchester Airport’s sometimes an option too). Transfers are covered, usually by coach. You should be pretty much set up to hit the slopes once you’ve arrived at your chalet, with extras like ski hire, lessons and lift passes being pre-bookable. Hosts will be on hand to introduce you to your chosen resort - the top places to eat, drink, dance, shop and of course, ski.
These holidays come with full ATOL and ABTOT protection.
The chalet collection includes some corkers - in stunning locations with panoramic views of the mountains, made ultra-cosy with perks like log fires, saunas and hot tubs.
There are more than 30 chalets in all, starting with some of the world’s smallest chalets sleeping as few as 2, all the way up to socking great 20-sleepers for a massive group/family extravaganza.
Daily catering will usually include a cooked breakfast, afternoon tea and 3-course evening meal with wine, along the lines of mushroom arancini canapés, beetroot and goats cheese salad to start, a main of baked salmon with veg, then a chocolate tart with creme fraiche for dessert.
Traditions known to feature on these holidays are after dinner coffee and mints, a Sunday champagne reception with canapés and a cheeseboard night with samples of local French cheese.
A ‘Wine Lover’s Package’ is usually offered for an extra cost if you fancy an upgraded selection of vinos…
One last thing to mention is that on 1 night of your holiday - the hosts’ day off – no evening meal is provided which gives you the chance to try a local restaurant. All of Le Ski’s resorts have a range of places to choose between, from fancy French to casual pub fare.
This operator tries not to charge extra for dietary requirements and is able to cater for most of these. It’s important to check this with us before you travel though, as some ingredients may need to be specially ordered.
A child-friendly menu can usually be provided for youngsters but if they tend to be particularly fussy about anything, let us know in advance and we can make sure the chef preps accordingly.
Discounts for groups and last minute bookings are often available - you might find reduced prices for children under a certain age too.
All of Le Ski’s catered chalet packages can be seen right here on this page, for the best price available. If any questions spring to mind, call us on the number at the top, or send us an enquiry.
Le Ski was started in 1982 by the very same people that run it today. Based in their UK office in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, they remain focused on what they’ve been doing from the start… Providing catered chalet ski holidays in their handpicked trio of French resorts. Très bon we say!
