· ski-in, ski-out on the Geigenbühel slopes · 5-10-minutes' walk to the resort centre · 5-10-minutes' walk to the ski bus stop · 20 minutes' walk to the Rosshütte lifts · 11 minutes' walk to the ski school meeting point
The Hotel Residenz Hochland is a skier's dream – it's right on the Geigenbühel slopes so you can get straight on the mountain in the morning. The main Rosshütte slopes are a bit further, though you can catch the ski bus there from the bottom of the local slopes. The views are pretty awesome too, looking out over Seefeld's valley. And it's only a few minutes' walk to the centre of town for your après fix or a spot of shopping.
The food is a mix of local cuisine and international favourites, and the chefs are more than happy to cater for special dietary requirements if you let them know in advance. If you don't fancy heading out after dinner then there's a relaxed piano bar and lounge with open fireplace.
Decor-wise the Hochland is fairly traditional – think lots of natural wood and knick-knacks gathered over generations – but with plenty of modern elements thrown in too. The rooms are very spacious and most have a balcony or terrace.
There's also an excellent wellness centre where you can take a dip in the pool or maybe book a massage.

Austrian twin beds
Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.
· continental buffet breakfast · afternoon snack · 4-course evening meal with a choice of main course and daily salad buffet · weekly gala dinner with music · special dietary requirements can be catered for, for a small local charge (please advise at the time of booking)
Many Austrian hotels do not serve free tap water with meals.
When you arrive in the resort, the coach isn’t able to take you right up to the entrance of the Hotel Hochland, so you’ll be dropped off close by. From there, a smaller vehicle will pick you up and take you the rest of the way.
