A real gem, The Hotel Pralong with its little wellness area sits opposite the slopes at the top of resort with spectacular views towards the mountains and forests. What sets it apart from others and is one of the many reasons we have worked with the hotel for many years is the owners, the Denicolo family. Not only do they provide a high standard of service and create a warm family atmosphere where you can quickly feel at home, they have a real passion for the mountains and skiing as proven by not one but two of the family having competed in the Ski World Championships.
The Denicolo family have put a lot of effort into the attention to detail, design and decorations of this traditional yet stylish hotel. Nature clearly plays a part in all of this which can be seen throughout the property with candles surrounded by fur cones in the bar area, beautiful embroidered cushions in the dining room and bedrooms and flowers and reefs in reception and other public areas. We particularly liked the stag head candle holders on the dining room table, a lovely touch.
Located just 150 metres from the Ciampinoi chairlift, access to the famous Sella Ronda circuit couldn't be easier each day. The centre of town is roughly 500 metres away but you can catch the local bus, the nearest bus stop is just a short walk from the hotel.
At the end of each day you can relax in the small wellness spa. Included in the holiday cost is the Finnish sauna and Turkish bath, other facilities such as the whirlpool and infra-red sauna are charged locally.
Transfer time: approx. 3 hours by coach from Innsbruck airport.
