When you stay at Hotel Monte Sella it feels like you’re staying with a family friend. Nobert and Cristina are excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them or their wonderful team. One thing’s for sure, once you’ve stayed here – you’ll want to return. The Art Nouveau building makes it seem like you’ve stepped back in time and there’s little nostalgic touches throughout the property. The rooms are great with lots of space and comfy beds to collapse in at the end of the day.
The hotel's great location means you are only 50 metres away from the ski lifts, so you can be skiing the world-class runs of the Dolomiti Superski in no time. The hotel also organises free guided skiing, snow shoeing and a fun ski race for guests. You’re right in the centre of the resort too so there’s plenty of bars and shops in easy walking distance.
Make sure to leave lots of room for breakfast and dinner as the food here is great. The chef uses local, organic produce and you can enjoy some lovely traditional South Tyrolean dishes. We love the organic juice bar at breakfast and the choosing from the incredible wine list at dinner.
We highly recommend taking a day out to enjoy the spa, however if you are a hardcore skier and want to be out on the mountain all day, don't worry, the facilities are openuntil 8pm each day so plenty of time for a swim, sauna or steam bath before dinner. For those still with more energy, the hotel's gym is where you want to go, personally you will find us chilling in the relaxation area or paying locally for a nice calming and soothing massage.
