Much of the piste is above 2000m and is very well maintained which means you should ski good quality snow whenever in the season you visit. Powder dumps in high volume, while not always consistent, are common, and make for some of the best skiing in the Aosta Valley, both on and off-piste.

The Monterosa region was awarded the 2012 ‘Best Upcoming Resort’ at the World Snow Awards, and has been considered one of the understated must-ski resorts in Europe. Gressoney Valley also has the best access to both east and west facing piste in this amazing area, giving you easy access to wherever you want to ski.
