Fleischers Hotel, Voss, Norway

The Fleischer's Hotel dates back to 1864, and is packed full of history. From the outside it looks like something out of a fairytale with its impressive spires and towers. Located in the centre of Voss, everything you need for a week of adventures is just a snowballs throw away and when you return, the hotel has some lovely facilities including a cosy bar and swimming pool.

Historic Hotel

With a rich history behind it, the Fleischers Hotel has an old world charm to it. From the outside the hotel stands out amongst the mountains, and when you head inside you can appreciate the historical surroundings, whether you are enjoying a drink in the bar or a meal in the Magdalene restaurant. Each of the comfortable rooms are located in various different parts of the hotel - we have rooms located in the Voss Station building, these cosy rooms are ideal for guests looking for simply furnished rooms in a great location. Many of the public areas and rooms also look over the Vangsvatnet lake and the surrounding mountains too, so you can enjoy the wonderful views from all sides of the hotel.

Relax and unwind

After a day of exploring Voss, the hotel has some wonderful facilities for you to enjoy. Enjoy a dip in the pool, or soothe any achy ski legs in the jacuzzi before warming up in the sauna. Fredrik's Bar is a lovely spot to catch up with friends and family after a day on the slopes, or enjoy cosying up in front of the crackling fire with a glass of wine. When it comes to dinner meals will be taken in Restaurant Magdalene, the menu often features traditional dishes from the regional cuisine that vary with the season.

Rooms

Standard Railway Rooms sleep two people. These rooms are located in the station building, and are connected to the hotel via a walkway.

Standard Lake View Rooms sleep two people. These rooms are located in the Olaf wing, and have views out to Lake Vangsvatnet and surrounding mountains.

Historic Lake View Rooms sleep two to three people, with the extra bed being a single sofa bed. These rooms are located in the oldest part of the hotel and have views out to the lake.
