Sitting proudly in the heart of Gstaad, Chalet Etesian is a property full of beautiful surprises. Stunning interior design and luxurious features make this chalet truly unique.

Chalet Etesian is a traditional chalet that has recently undergone an exciting renovation. An extension has been created to produce two very distinct parts to the chalet. One is the sophisticated, gorgeous, and comfortable living area with seven en-suite bedrooms and the impressive living and dining rooms. However, step into the new area and you will find an incredible entertainment room designed to emulate a nightclub of the highest class. Here is also a master bedroom, cinema room, and indulgent spa.

This is a truly grand property set in prime position at the beating heart of Gstaad. Just a short stroll from the village centre, this distinctive property will enchant and indulge endlessly.

Here is also a guest restroom, a laundry room, and a ski room to keep all of your equipment secure.

Take the stairs down to the spa area for some utter relaxation with a private hot tub, indulgent hammam, shower, and separate restroom. Here you can also recharge your batteries in the chic gym area. On this floor you can retreate to the new master bedroom, the luxurious private spa, cinema room with Wii, and a huge entertainment room as sophisticated as any high-end nightclub for stylish nights in.

On the first floor is the main sleeping area, presenting five individually-designed bedrooms. These include three en-suite double bedrooms, a large master en-suite bedroom, and an adorable children's bunk room. Three of these bedrooms give access to the beautiful garden where you can enjoy the wondrous views of the surrounding mountains.

In Switzerland’s German speaking Saanenland region, Gstaad has the kind of reputation in the skiing world that St Tropez has in summer. And it’s the local international schools we have to thank for it. Institute Le Rosey set up shop here in 1917 and as students, teachers and their families raved about the Gstaad good life, the village’s reputation as a luxurious destination grew and grew. Stars of Hollywood’s golden age graced its grand hotels and ritzy bars - Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren, Grace Kelly – a...
The ski area is huge and varied, featuring Bernese Oberland’s only glacier, Glacier 3000 as well as the Rinderberg, Lengebrand, Saanerslochgrat, Hornberg and Horneggli mountains. Beginners can access easy blues from the Ruttli and Zuckerli lifts at the end of Gstaad village. More easy runs are served by the Gstaad – Eggli lift, streaming down into Saanen. Intermediates should be able to handle the area’s longest run from the top of Mt. La Videmanette, all the way down into Rougemont. Blue and red ru...
As you’d expect of a resort of Gstaad’s calibre, there are some fabulous restaurants to dine in. The Alpina Gstaad and Restaurant Chesery have a Michelin star and 18 Gault&Millau points each, and more G&M points are scattered around the resort’s remaining eateries. We like Berghaus Wispile for 360° views of the surroundings and Saagli Stubli for fondues and all things cheesy. For DIY fondues, there are fondue huts and giant fondue pots scattered around the region to form Fondueland – pick up a rucksack from...
