Getting on the slopes is a breeze – just wander for less than five minutes to the main gondola that’ll shoot you up into the local ski area. Or hop on the bus explore nearby Zell am See – it stops close to the hotel.

The hotel itself is bound to impress, with its alpine-modern style and spacious rooms that each come with balconies and mountain views. Food plays an important part of the experience at Das Alpenhaus, with top quality buffet spreads in the morning, and a mix of classic Austrian fare and creative Mediterranean dishes each evening – always using regionally sourced ingredients. Plus, vegetarians and vegans are well-catered for too.

Spa lovers are in for a treat too. The super swish 1,000m Alpen.Veda.Spa is a true highlight, designed over two floors for the ultimate rest and relaxation experience.
