Catered

All our catered properties come with a highly qualified chef, who will organise a pre-arrival menu consultation with you. You will start the day with tea or coffee in bed, be served a delicious breakfast before you tackle the slopes by our hosts, afternoon tea will be waiting your arrival after skiing. We then offer canapés and apéritifs prior to a sensational gourmet evening meal six of seven nights, allowing you to sample the local restaurants on our chefs’ night off. Your chef will happily prepare children’s meals for younger members of your team, these can be served prior to the adults meal time if required.

Self-catered

If during your stay with us you prefer to cook for yourselves or want to enjoy the many restaurants in Zermatt. On a self catered basis, linen and towels are provided, however no change is provided during the week. We can arrange extra services for you during the week at an additional charge including cleaners and additional towel or linen changes. We have a concierge service throughout your stay and can arrange restaurant bookings, massage and beauty treatments, ski instruction, off-piste guides, heliskiing, winter activities and childcare at your request.

Concierge

Our staff provide a private concierge service during the build up to as well as throughout your stay and can arrange ski-passes, restaurant bookings, massage and beauty treatments from our in-house therapist, ski instruction, heli skiing, off-piste guides, winter activities and childcare at your request. We are happy to assist with any special request no matter how big or small to ensure your stay with us is effortless. We understand that each holiday needs to be personalised and bespoke.

We update Chalet Schlumatt's details often, but facilities do change. e.g. some extras listed by the supplier as "free" or included might only be for the first time you use them, or for one time per party, then charged for further use. If any specific feature is essential to your holiday, make sure you ask us to confirm the details of it before you book your holiday.

Zermatt belongs to Switzerland's Valais canton, which rubs shoulders with the Italian Alps. You'll find it surrounded by nearly a third of Europe's 4000m peaks and, most notably, right at the foot of the Matterhorn. Even if you haven't heard of this mountain, chances are you'd recognise it - national landmark of Switzerland, the inspiration for the Toblerone and a peak photographed more than any other. Besides the picturesque scenery, these mighty mountains come with a cool climate, ever-white glaciers and ...
There are 200km of runs in the local area alone and a massive 360km overall if you count the Matterhorn's Italian side. With Cervina, Zermatt forms the 'Matterhorn Ski Paradise' where SNO lovers of all abilities are blessed with high altitude terrain - and lots of it! Everyone's a winner in a ski area this big and brilliant. Still, if we had to pick where it shines, we'd say it's incredibly fantastic for intermediate and advanced level skiers and snowboarders. If you're a keen beginner, you'll love Zermatt,...
Zermatt has voted the world's best après ski resort by the World Snow Awards in the past, making it a wise choice if you want a whale of a time post-skiing. Sure – it doesn't come cheap, but you won't find better if you want quality. Across sixty bars and numerous nightclubs, you can relax, unwind and party through the night. Harry's Bar is the place to dance to cheesy pop and Papperla offers a pubby atmosphere, but you can't come to Zermatt without being tempted into the Hennu Stall (at the end of the Furi-Ze...
