Chalet Lauenen is the spectacular new luxury chalet in Lauenen, Gstaad just a five-minute drive from the main promenade. Nestling among farmland pastures its location is idyllic and ensures maximum privacy for the most discerning client. Combined with breathtaking panoramic views which can be seen from all aspects of the chalet, this is the ultimate alpine home.

Recently completed in 2013 the chalet is a sensitive blend of traditional alpine materials with the latest contemporary design. Rich fabrics, wooden beams and sumptuous furnishings are throughout the property with attention to detail at its finest. Spread over 600m2 on four floors the use of space is exceptional providing numerous relaxation and entertainment areas all with the latest modern comforts.

You enter the chalet on the ground floor which is the main sleeping floor. Here you will find the impressive master bedroom which has a traditional Swedish stove and en-suite bathroom with separate rain shower. Further bedrooms on this floor include another double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a bunk room sleeping 2 which has an en-suite shower room. Also on this floor there is a wonderful play room with plenty of games for the children as well as a foosball table. The ski room with heated warmers is just near the entrance of the chalet as well as a guest toilet.

Moving upstairs you will find the extensive living and entertainment areas. The grand sitting room is luxurious and sophisticated. A large open fireplace is the main feature of the room, guests can sink into the sumptuous sofas or relax with a glass of champagne on the fur covered day beds. The less formal day room next door is bright and spacious with a wonderful bay window which looks out onto the idyllic pastures surrounding the chalet. The beautiful farmhouse inspired kitchen overlooks the day room and can be closed off for maximum privacy. Dinner is served in the elegant dining room which can sit 14 people comfortably. An office is also situated on this floor.

A beautiful staircase leads the way to the cinema room, which overlooks the main sitting room high in the eaves. Sink into the comfy seating or relax on a day bed whilst watching the latest films. Chalet Lauenen has the latest audio and visual systems throughout ensuring a wonderful ambiance. The theatre room enjoys a 70” high definition screen, Dolby surround sound and an extensive library of movies. Apple TV and the Xbox provide endless entertainment and there is a Sonos sound system with 20M worth of music wired throughout the chalet controllable from iPad and smartphone.

The lower ground floor is home to the exceptional spa and wellness area. After a hard day on the slopes, guests can sit back and relax on the day beds whilst dipping in and out of the waterfall showers, sauna, steam room and plunge pool. There is a wood burning fire, gym and outdoor relaxation space with river view. Also on this floor is a delightful twin bedroom and guest suite. The twin bedroom has an en-suite shower room and the guest suite is made up of a double bedroom, beautifully designed separate, children’s bunk room sleeping four. These share a contemporary en-suite bathroom.

The chalet is sold on a self-catered or fully catered basis. The fully catered service includes a professional chef, two hosts and a daily dedicated driver service. Food and alcohol is an additional charge plus 10%.

Our impeccable service will leave you feeling like there is nothing wanting more from your stay in a fully serviced chalet. We understand and adapt our service to specific cultural nuances so that a holiday with us is an experience in flawless luxury.

During your stay you will be provided with the following services: A highly qualified professional chef to prepare breakfast, after-ski snacks, and dinner. Our chefs will work with you or your staff to create the perfect menu for your stay, be it a seven course evening meal or something simple and healthy (food and wine charged separately).. Wine list provided by a renowned local cave.

A dedicated chauffeur and vehicle (Volkswagen Caravelle or similar) operating between the hours of 8.30am until 1am. The chalet manager and host(s) are at hand to pour your morning coffee, serve dinner in the evenings and provide you with a concierge service during your stay. Daily cleaning is provided by our housekeepers.

Working hard to bring together a team of experienced chefs who are happy to work with you and your group to create the perfect menu during your stay with us. Children, dietary requirements, and any other specific requests will be discussed prior to your arrival. And even during your stay the staff will be willing to adapt the menu plan to accommodate your wishes.
