Overview: chalet description: Chalet Jasmine description

Chalet Jasmine is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful chalets in Verbier

This beautiful luxury chalet is perfectly positioned only a short walk from the main Médran lift station, set back from the Route de Ransou and, snow permitting, you can ski to the back door.

The chalet, which was completed in 2011, is a showpiece of local craftsmanship with intricately carved doors and ceilings and beautiful stone and wood flooring throughout the extensive open plan living areas. Stylishly furnished and equipped with a state-of-the-art cinema, entertainment systems, indoor hot tub, and sauna, Chalet Jasmine’s owners have created a very desirable property.

The chalet is 450m2 and set out over four floors sleeping a total of 12 people in six bedrooms. The top floor is given over to two master double bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathroom and a shared balcony.

The generous open plan living and dining area occupies the first floor. This room is separated into three areas: an impressive wood-panelled library, a comfortable and chic living area, and the dining area. A balcony wraps around this floor providing more space from which to enjoy striking views of the surrounding mountains.

The well-equipped kitchen opens onto the dining area. The main entrance and ski locker is located on this floor. You can reach the chalet by skis (snow permitting) from the Le Rouge piste. This floor also has a separate guest toilet.
The second living room, a further four bedrooms, and one bathroom and shower room are located on the ground floor. The four bedrooms comprise: one large double/twin bedroom (small window onto living room, not exterior) with an adjacent but separate bathroom; two small twin/double rooms (one with skylight window, one with small window opening onto living room); and a small bunk room sleeping two with skylight window and separate shower room. All the bedrooms open onto a second living room with open plan kitchen and access to the large terrace.
The spa area (with indoor hot tub, rain shower, and sauna), the cinema, and the wine cave occupy the lower ground floor. This floor gives access to the garage with parking for two vehicles. A laundry room is also located on this floor.
The chalet is sold on a catered or self-catered basis.
When sold on a fully catered basis the chalet normally comes with a 24-hour 4x4 driving service.

Established in 1937, posh party town Verbier covers a sunny plateau slap bang in the middle of Switzerland’s 4 valleys – which just happens to be one of Europe’s biggest and best ski areas. The easy-on-the-eye architecture’s a pretty mix of wood and slate, but it’s what you’ll find within some of these walls that’ll blow your socks off… Blending in with dozens of classic chalets and ski hotels, this place has some of the most luxurious lodgings on the planet. Some hotels come with designer suites an...
Besides being famous for its off-piste routes, Verbier’s well groomed slopes are well known as some of the most challenging in the Alps. Although it mainly attracts intermediate, advanced and expert level skiers seeking adventurous off-piste and steeps experience, the 37 local pistes covering 100km provide for all abilities. The resort has three areas specifically for beginners, including the gentle slopes at Les Moulins, which has a children’s area and Les Esserts, with its 120m magic carpet. Those with a b...
Many say Verbier’s après is the main reason to visit – it’s certainly some of the best in the world and if you want to increase the odds of bumping into Prince Harry or Leonardo di Caprio on the dance floor, there’s no better place to party. From a good old pint in a lively pub (we love Nelson’s and Pub Mont Fort) to swanky cocktails with the socialites at Cordee de Alps, the nightlife is wonderfully varied. An absolute legend is the Farinet - with a huge sliding roof, a commanding position over the mai...
