The beloved Dragon has long been a favourite with British skiers due to its unbeatable location at the foot of the pistes and the lively après ski bar. The interior décor is that of a British country pub and there is always a warm and convivial feel to this great Chalet Hotel. The bedrooms are simple but tastefully decorated in pine and some have balconies overlooking the impressive Matterhorn and the main terrace. As previously mentioned, the hotel's public bar is a popular après venue with a generous happy hour and occasional live music - the perfect place to sit with friends to enjoy a lively afternoon or evening.
The Dragon also houses an underground bar which opens a few nights a week, one for the famous Cervinia Pub Crawl, another for the extremely popular Quiz night, it may be open additional evenings for special events. Sporting fixtures are shown in the pub and underground bar, The Six Nations, football matches being the most popular. Upon request the downstairs bar can be reserved for large groups. After a day's skiing in one of Europe's best ski domains you are able to come straight from the slopes into the Chalet Hotel for afternoon tea and cake, or join the après ski in the main pub or outside on the terrace. Dinner is served in a private dining room where you will enjoy the pre-dinner drinks and time to relax. The Dragon's pub has always been a popular after dinner spot so be sure to check the weekly entertainment programme with our Bar staff or Rep.
