Overview: chalet description: Chalet Acélia description

Chalet Acélia is an inviting freestanding chalet located in the centre of Courchevel 1550, directly linked to Courchevel 1850 and its expansive ski resort via the Les Grangettes lift.

The heart of the chalet lies on the second floor, where an open-plan living and dining area beckons. Enveloped by the welcoming embrace of an L-shaped sofa, the wood-burning fireplace stands as an elegant divider between the living and dining spaces. On either side of the mantelpiece, TVs offer entertainment. A sophisticated yet cosy atmosphere is curated through a colour palette of whites and greys, harmoniously blended with warm wooden finishes. The sleek and modern kitchen seamlessly complements the alpine chic ambience.

The top floor houses the master bedroom, spanning the entire floor. Equipped with both a TV and a private balcony, this bedroom provides inspiring mountain vistas. The space achieves a perfect blend of alpine charm and contemporary finishes. The expansive en-suite bath and shower room, adorned with his and hers sinks, create a luxurious space for relaxation.

The first floor reveals the remaining elegantly appointed bedrooms, all of which boast access to the terrace. The first is a charming double room with an ensuite shower room, a TV, and floor-to-ceiling sliding doors. Adjacent to this, discover another delightful double bedroom featuring an en-suite shower room and TV. The third bedroom on this level offers a double bed bunk, an en-suite shower room, and a TV, providing an ideal retreat for younger guests. Completing this floor is a spacious double bedroom, also equipped with a TV and an en-suite shower room.

As you step into the ground floor, a thoughtfully designed entrance hall welcomes you with two inviting sofas. Venture deeper into the space to uncover a private indoor hot tub surrounded by a tranquil relaxation area. For those seeking an active escape, discover the fully equipped gym, complete with a spinning bike, ski erg, treadmill, and free weights. Additionally, the lower ground floor features a dedicated boot room, equipped with a boot heater and ample storage space.

This accommodation only holiday to Chalet Acélia in Courchevel, France departs Sunday 3rd March 2024, for a 7 night stay on a "self catering" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 2024 was between €1 and €3 per person, per night.

Divided into five villages - each known by its altitude - the Courchevel area provides a series of settings to suit different tastes, group make-ups and budgets. For pure, champagne-popping indulgence, Courchevel 1850 oozes exclusivity and no-limits luxury. It's the largest and highest of the villages and boasts a private airport, twelve Michelin stars between its restaurants, two palace hotels, and many designer boutiques. It's a seriously swanky stomping ground for the fashionable, famous and affluent. ...

There's a 'Stop Zone' where learners can safely conquer the basics before hitting the slopes, and 4 beginner areas (called Zen Zones) where you can gently progress – find two in the main area and one each in Moriond and Le Praz. As part of the effort to make the resort child friendly, the Indiens piste focuses on fun for kids. Activities here include face painting, a treasure trail and many other activities around a...
Après ski in 1850 is the height of sophistication.
