The Alpenhotel Laurin is the perfect refuge in the Hochgurgl mountains. The lifts and beginners slopes are only a short walk away – great for when you're raring to go in the mornings and for when you're carrying your equipment back. And wherever you are in the hotel, you get absolutely stunning views of the Ötztal Valley and surrounding mountains.
The rooms are comfortable and simply designed – and most also have fab views of the mountains.
As Hochgurgl is quite a quiet resort, there's not much in the way of lively après. The Laurin, though, is able to fulfil your after-skiing needs with their huge sun terrace – grab a drink from the bar and soak up some sun after a day on the slopes. For something even more relaxing, head to the spa and unwind in the sauna and steam room, or enjoy mountain views while you take a leisurely swim in the panoramic pool.
The hotel is also well known for its delicious food. Whether its the healthy breakfast buffet or the creative and beautifully prepared 4-course evening meals, you'll finish every meal with a smile on your face.

Austrian twin beds
Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.
•Austria’s highest resort •Ski in / ski out •Premium accommodation
Austria’s highest and one of Europe’s most snow sure, this resort is a prime choice for a week of terrific snow. Jaw dropping scenery, a handful of high end accommodation and an unhurried pace of life make Hochgurgl one of our top recommendations for an all-round quality week on the snow.
