Scotland's Grampian mountains are home to Britain's biggest lift system, Glenshee, which covers four mountains and every level of piste, totalling 40km. Coming second in size, Cairngorm’s famous for having the UK’s only funicular railway, while the Nevis Range achieved a first with the presence of its gondola, providing speedy access to its 35 runs. The Lecht's 22 pistes total 25km, while Glencoe has 20 ski slopes in its 18km ski area.
