Valle Nevado is one of the Tres Valles ski resorts, linked to La Parva and Coloradio’s slopes by an area lift pass. Being only about an hour and a half’s drive out of the capital, Santiago, makes it easy to reach and opens up the opportunity for an incredible city and mountain break.

Further north, Portillo’s the star of Warren Miller films and a resort quite unlike any other – centered around a huge, bright yellow hotel. With 35 groomed runs and never ending off piste, it’s become a bucket list destination for extreme skiers who can hike to legendary terrain like the Super C Couloir.
