High altitude skiing in the vast Paradiski area is La Plagne’s main draw, and the usually excellent snow conditions are a safe bet when you’ve only got a few days to spare on the slopes.
When it comes to getting here, La Plagne is just under a 2-hour drive from Chambery Airport (CHF), 2h15 from Grenoble (GNB) and Lyon (LYS) and around 2.5 hours from Geneva (GVA).
Save time in resort by pre-booking your ski or snowboard hire from the shop nearest to your accommodation, and ordering your lift pass so you’re ready to get up and go. Most of La Plagne’s short break accommodation comes in the form of catered chalets, which include breakfasts, afternoon teas and suppers with wine in the overall cost – saving you from spending time and money finding restaurants around the resort. A lot of the chalets here have doorstep skiing to make getting around a breeze, and you’ll also find facilities like hot tubs and saunas to see you relaxed and readied for another day on the slopes.
