Ski apartments with swimming pools

Swimming pools are super additions to a ski apartment stay, giving you a good chance to warm up before skiing, relax afterwards and make a non-ski day amazing.

Some indoor pools look out to the mountains while others form part of a wellness centre neighbouring whirlpools, steam rooms, saunas and such. Open-air pools let you swim among surrounding peaks - when there’s snow falling it’s an incredible experience. A few of our favourite apartments have access to both indoor AND outdoor pools or children’s pools where sprogs will have a whale of a time.

Usually swimming pool access is included with your apartment booking, but some properties ask for an extra charge – ask us to double check if it’s not clear. It’s also worth clueing up on the pool rules which can differ from country to country – for example, France usually requires that men wear speedos rather than board shorts while Italy likes swimmers to wear caps.

Ski apartments with flights

When you already have packing and meal prep to think about, having travel sorted out with your apartment booking makes life a little easier. Our apartment packages come with flights from airports all over the UK, and when you land at the other end, transfers are included to whisk you to resort.

Some people like to stop off at a hypermarket on the way to resort - to stock up on food and avoid the hiked-up resort prices - in which case it’s worth looking into hiring a car from the airport or booking a private transfer.

Luxury ski apartments

Just like chalets and hotels, the range of self-catered accommodation in ski resorts is huge. At the top end of the scale are some real beauties – decked out by top interior designers with private spa facilities and first-class locations on the mountainside.

Make your stay all the more luxurious by hiring in a private chef to man the kitchen, massage therapists to work their wonders on those ski legs and private nannies for any childcare.

Family ski apartments with childcare

Apartments allow the most flexibility of all the ski accommodations, which makes them fabulous for families. Cater for fussy eaters in the way you know best, keep up with the usual meal and bedtime routines and enjoy quality time together in your own space.

Our favourite properties for families come with features like swimming pools, games rooms and ski-out locations to make the week fun for all and free from hassle.

If you’re seeking someone to mind your sprogs, our ski apartments with childcare are the solution. Sometimes this can be booked as part of your self-catered package, with a creche on site or in a nearby hotel. There’s also the option to hire a private nanny, who’ll arrive with an armful of games and activities to entertain your children in the comfort of the apartment. Or, you can usually book childcare with the local ski school, who have kindergarten programs for tots too young to ski.

Ski apartments without flights

One of the great things about self-catering is the independence it gives you: private space to relax in and the chance to eat what, when and where you like. If you’d like to pair this with independent travel, check out our accommodation-only apartments.

Many self-caterers choose to self-drive, which lets you fill the car with food and home comforts free from airport weight restrictions, and stop off at big supermarkets en route. Or if you’re flying, a hire car can work out cheaper and more convenient.

Cheap ski apartments

They might not be the roomiest digs in the alps, or the most polished – but if all you want is somewhere to crash at the end of the day and you’re skiing on a shoestring, our low-cost apartments might be all you need.

One top tip in keeping costs down is avoiding underoccupancy charges, so find some SNO loving friends who don’t mind bunking up or sleeping in sofa beds and you’re set.

Ski Apartments FAQ:

Also known as a flat or condo, this a set of adjoining rooms usually sleeping groups of between 4 and 10 people. They range from swanky bespoke pads to basic, no frills studios. They’ll usually be in a building with several other units, which may share facilities like a shop, swimming pool or spa suite. Many apartments are found in French ski resorts.

The inclusion of kitchen facilities gives you the flexibility of self-catering and having menus and meal times dictated on holiday isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Apartments are usually a cheaper option than chalets or hotels and give you your own living space to relax in at the end of the day.

• Decide on which resort, how many beds you need and what facilities you’d like in your property.

• Browse this page using our filter function to find properties that meet your requirements. You can also get in touch with us for help with your search.

• Once decided, your apartment booking needs to be secured with a deposit (usually if it’s over 12 weeks until your departure date) or a full-balance payment (if booking last minute).

Our best luxury ski apartments can be found in Les Gets, Val d’Isère and Courchevel. If we’re talking ‘best’ in terms of value for money and/or access to the slopes, Les Arcs and Avoriaz are top options.

Ski-in-ski-out apartments are great in terms of proximity to the slopes (like Residence Le Cheval Blanc Apartments, Val Thorens). If you prefer to be closer to shops, bars and restaurants, pick an apartment in a town-centre location (such as the Residence la Ginabelle apartments in Chamonix).

Some apartments sleep as many as 10 guests, such as:
