Top places to visit in St. Kitts & Nevis in March

Clay Villa Plantation House and Gardens is a great sightseeing stop for the whole family. The house is a marvellous feat alone and the gardens are beautiful, with vibrant tropical plants growing everywhere you look. On the grounds, there are numerous species of injured wildlife that the owners, the Phillips family, have rescued and nursed back to health.

Fun fact: The floors of the house are the original wood dating back to the 1700s! There is no age limit for visitors, making this landmark a perfect place to visit for the whole family where you can all enjoy the historical value and the stunning views.

Though March is one of the most popular times to visit St Kitts, there are a few beaches that are rarely busy. One quiet beach is Majors Bay, located mere yards from the tip of the southeast peninsula highway, besides where the Sea Bridge Ferry to Nevis picks up and lets off people and vehicles. This beach is rarely busy, throughout the year, and with a long narrow stretch of golden sand, it is perfect for a little getaway.

Another beach that is usually secluded is Frigate Bay North. This superb stretch of beach is sparsely populated, and you can enjoy the warm waters and sunshine practically to yourself, even on public holidays and at the height of tourist season.
