Weather and Man Made Snow in Wagrain

On an annual basis, Wagrain's average frozen precipitation is 900cm.

This natural weather-created snowfall is helped along with 130 snow guns or "cannons" on 180km of piste - that's over 95% of the total length of Wagrain trails.

Off-piste snowboarding and sking is allowed and of course this has the secondary effect of reducing the wear and tear on snow condition on the pisted runs.
