Altes Schulhaus, A-6764 Lech am Arlberg Austria
Skischule Lech have a special children’s program to make sure little ones have a great time on their skis. Lessons run from Sunday or Monday until Friday (no group lessons on Saturday) and start from the age of 4.5 years. The lessons go from 10am until 3pm, with a one hour lunch break in between where they have lunch with the instructors. More proficient children can learn slalom and freestyle. If you’d rather your child had 1:1 attention, or your children learn just with their friends/siblings, private lessons are also available.

Lech day and evening care plus snow ski schools and babysitting.
Oberlech is an especially good choice for families being traffic free and the younger ones will particularly enjoy the need to take the lift up and down to reach the wider facilities available in Lech itself. They might also be suitably inspired to on-snow greatness if told that this is where Patrick Ortlieb was born and raised. The Miniclub in Lech takes children that are toilet trained from aged three, cover is available from a day or longer and lunch is available at an additional cost. A similar arrangement is available at the Kindergarten Oberlech for children aged two and a half to three and a half. There is a ski kindergarten which accepts children from age 3. Special deals at the ski school include free ski school for the second child when a family of four take skiing lessons. Lift pass discounts are available to children up to age 15/16 but in common with other Austrian resorts they are based on your child's age according to a fixed date rather than your child's age on the date you are visiting the resort. Children up to age 6 must still buy a ski pass unfortunately, although it is very cheap at 10 euros.
