You & Me Maldives

The stay was wonderful! Perfect resident service! Firas was very helpful, kind and with a sense of humor. We could always count on him. The entire resort is beautiful, clean, and the service is at the highest level. We have never been so pampered on holiday in our lives. We didn't have to wait in lines anywhere, sunbeds were always available. Homes... Beautiful with a breathtaking view of the sunrise. Direct access to the ocean via steps... Wonderful! The entire stay was at the highest level! We are overjoyed that we could be there.

DREAMY…. Wow this place was the best place i have ever visited the staff the resort the island i can’t fault it one bit, the staff were the best staff i have ever come across the hospitality was amazing they had a smile on their faces 24/7 and were just the best, hats off to them. the resort was beautiful, clean, stunning to look at it just was the most dreamiest holiday ever, and a big hats off to shinaz our host he was amazing he took so much care of everything explained everything to us and was just an amazing person. You&me we will definitely be back again thank you for giving us the best time ever.

Overall experience We travelled to You & Me Maldives in April 2024 for our honeymoon. We went for 10 nights, which for us was the perfect amount of time to do all the activities we wanted, whilst having time to relax, and not breaking the budget You can do as little or as much as you like, whether it’s sunbathing or snorkelling, or paid for excursions and other activities around the island. Despite a few days of rain at the beginning of the trip, it didn’t dampen our spirits and the rest of the trip was glorious sunshine. Regardless don’t let it put you off. For us, rain showers were sporadic and didn’t affect anything we wanted to do. Accommodation Our stay at You & Me Maldives began with a delightful upgrade from a Manta Villa to a Dolphin Villa as part of our honeymoon package, which we had arranged by reaching out to the resort via email after booking. The Dolphin Villas are positioned over the water, offering unmatched privacy and breathtaking views of the sunset from their and terraces, equipped with sun loungers, a table, chairs, and direct ocean access via a ladder. The room itself was beautifully designed with a comfortable bed facing the crystal-clear waters and endless horizon. The bathroom was great featuring his and her basins and a shower that opens out to the terrace—perfect for enjoying the view or stepping into directly after a swim in the sea. There’s also a convenient outdoor shower on the terrace for quick rinses. Although the minibar was well-stocked, guests should note that alcoholic beverages are not complimentary and can be quite pricey. However, this was hardly a concern since we were on an all-inclusive plan, allowing us to enjoy refreshments at the main bar. Food & Drink We booked the all inclusive package, which is worth every penny. All meals were included as well as a wide range of drinks, as well as the option for paid premium drinks (not that we really needed them!). The culinary variety was impressive, with three different restaurants to choose from, offering both buffet and à la carte options. The buffet nights were great, especially the Indian-themed night. We also had an amazing meal in the underwater restaurant called H2O. It’s a big expense but a once in a lifetime opportunity, so in our view worth every penny. We won’t spoil the surprise, but you will get an incredible show with some great food! If you have any special requests for food (or are just fussy!) reach out to your host or one of the chefs and they are always happy to accommodate, sometimes creating something unique for you! Activities The activities at You & Me Maldives are abundant and cater to a variety of interests, ensuring that every day is as active or relaxed as you desire. Complimentary amenities include the use of snorkels and fins throughout your stay, which allowed us to explore the vibrant reefs around the island—a definite highlight for us. Kayaks and paddleboards are also available for no extra charge, providing a fun way to enjoy the water at your own pace. There were a few other activities including a pool table, table tennis, but we didn’t get round to using those. Every evening there are activities too - karaoke, dancing, etc. Didn’t think it would be for us, but our advice would be - just let go, join in and enjoy it! For those looking for more structured activities, the resort offers a range of paid excursions. We opted for a morning snorkeling excursion, which was the best experience of our trip and would definitely recommend. We also indulged in several spa treatments and other small excursions, which were well worth the extra expense. The resort provides additional options like watersports and trips to neighboring islands. Not that it affected us, but worth noting, if you’re prone to sea sickness, and you’re planning an excursion on a boat, do check the weather beforehand as it can be a little choppy out in the deeper ocean! Service One of the most incredibly dedicated teams we have ever encountered. From arriving into Malé, being greeted by a resort host to transfer us to the sea plane, to departing at the end of our stay, we always felt welcome and taken care of. There are plenty of staff who all make the effort to get to know you, so by the end of the trip you’ll find you have lots of new friends! You’ll be assigned a host who will be there to support you on your trip, and help with your itinerary. The first few days were quite busy so didn’t get to see our host as much as we wanted to, but the service was excellent throughout and it didn’t affect our trip whatsoever. Thanks to Shana for all your help! Huge thanks as well to the General Manager, Rina, and one of the restaurant managers Angelica (or Angel), just to name a few - they will both bring a smile to your face every time you see them. But a huge thanks again to the entire team - you all made our honeymoon that extra bit more special All in all this has been the best trip of our lives. We will certainly be back again soon!

Well, what can I say. You & Me surpassed all expectations from the moment we emailed to ask a few questions to the moment we waved goodbye through the sea plane window. I’ve given an honest review below with my personal pros and cons with some staff name drops thrown in. Room: (P) We stayed in the aqua suite with pool (Room 608) it’s right in the middle. The room was spacious with an amazing view. The pool and deck was perfect for some afternoon sun and chilling in your own space. Our room was cleaned and turned down every day with some beautiful towel art work added. (C) The bathroom had no aircon, so getting ready of an evening felt like a workout. The minibar was not included in the AI package apart from soft drinks. This is the first time I have experienced this within an AI package and I have to say, it let it down slightly. Even if this was only refilled once a day to be able to enjoy a drink while using the pool or getting ready, it would make it a lot better. Food/Dining: (P) Breakfast was a mix of buffet style and order from menu. The buffet was choices of freshly cooked waffles, pancakes etc. Fresh fruit cut in front of you to your choice and plenty of cereal, breads pastries to please anyone. The menu was a variety of foods cooked fresh to order. Lunch was a sit down menu choice. Enough variety to be able to choose something different each day if you wanted. Dinner was always a menu choice, again there was enough variety to each different and you had the choice of the 3 places to eat (4 if you include H2O) La pasta - Eating dinner in this restaurant at around 7pm with the sunset was a memory that will last. Hasitha (Head Chef) was excellent. The pride he has in his work was clear for all to see and he was kind enough to make us a couple of special dishes. Pincher who was the restaurant manager was exceptional. His customer service and personality is second to none. Jay-Z now there is a special lad. Excellent customer service, extremely funny and just a really nice person. A couple of other staff mentions here. Angel. Her name describes her well. She made everyone feel welcome and made everyone feel at home. Smile. The end of our second week, saw the end of his 4th week with the company. We could see he was learning his role, but his confidence and ability took steps forward each day. Well done Smile, keep going. (C) I am not a fan of seafood, and sometimes I could taste that fishy taste. I’m guessing where a lot of food is cooked in the same place or same oils. (Mainly experienced this in the lunch area) The chairs sank a bit in the sand so it often felt like the table was far too high to eat at. Cushions would help I think. Entertainment (P) There was a great mix of live singers, DJ, themed evenings and chilled out times with soft background music. (C) Sometimes it felt like we were in Ibiza. The DJ could probably read the room Better and played a better selection of music to suit the evening. Excursions (P) The water sports centre team were brilliant. We did the honeymoon package (it doesn’t need to be your honeymoon). It gave us a bit of everything and we had the most amazing experience. Jet ski, dolphin spotting, sand bank trip and parasailing. Saves you money by booking this package. (C) Other excursions may never match up…. H2O (P) This experience was simply amazing. Pictures will not do this place justice. The boat there, the entrance, the atmosphere. Stunning. Indika the H2O manager is amazing. Eye for detail, creator of memories and an absolute advocate of You&Me. He kindly gave us the front table and we couldn’t have had a better experience. (C) Nothing. Smashed it, Indika. General things: Main bar area. The staff here were incredible, from early til late they were creating atmospheres and service that every company should want. They are attentive, friendly, personable and FUN! Riky, Alan, Firu, Ravi, SK, Jagadeshi, Firu. Great team! Malik - our Island host. He set up our first week to give us the chance to just chill and take it all in. He guided us through the first week he was available via what’s app whenever we needed it and checked in on us to make sure we were always happy. Rina -The boss lady! She absolutely wanted everything just so, and never took her eye off the ball. However, at the drop of a hat, she would be up singing a song, or dancing with people to encourage/support a great night. Professional, dutiful and just blooming brilliant!

We had an incredibly positive experience at You and Me Maldives. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Shana, our designated host for the duration of our stay. Throughout our time there, she consistently took excellent care of us, making us feel like we had a kind of “godmother” looking out for us. 😍 Shana was always quick and efficient in helping us with anything we needed, and we're extremely grateful to have met her. Thanks to her, we were able to fully enjoy our experience at You And Me Maldives. We stayed in an amazing bungalow facing the sunset, which I highly recommend, and we had wonderful dining experiences at the island's restaurants. Additionally, the staff we encountered during our stay were exceptional. They always greeted us with a smile, were incredibly polite, helpful, and willing to answer any questions with enthusiasm. While we only registered a few names ( Junu, Sonu, Nai, Nisham, Haan, Irufahn, Saleem, Areej ) every member of the staff deserved recognition for their positive contributions. Overall, our six days at You and Me Maldives were fantastic, and we highly recommend staying here, especially if you're lucky enough to have Shana as your host.
