Cosmopolitan Voyage, charming vacation, captivating views, contemporary and classy vibe

For context, my husband and I have been privileged to have stayed in many luxury 5* all inclusive hotels worldwide. Previous holidays have included stays in the following hotel brands; Ikos, Rixos, Barut, Excellence and Secrets Resorts, Royalton, Jumeirah, Riu, Hyatt. We have visited Turkey numerous times , also many Greek islands, the Balearics, Canaries, Spain, Portugal, Cyprus, Cape Verde, Morocco, the UAE and many Caribbean destinations. This trip to Voyage Torba in May was our 17th all inclusive holiday in Turkey. Last year we enjoyed stays at NG Phaselis Bay in Kemer and Cullinan Belek. Highlights: • We typically opt for contemporary, upscale hotels with a variety of a la carte restaurant options and Voyage Torba more than met our preferences on these counts. We loved the contemporary design, stylish furnishing, fabulous gym and, above all, the picturesque setting and captivating views. • Superb choice of a la carte breakfast and lunch options. • Generally excellent service with special thanks to Mehmet and Musa who served us on the beach and also Rayan in Gracias. • Degusto buffet restaurant gets our vote for the nicest ambiance of any buffet restaurant at any hotel we have stayed at; the interior design and views from the terraces conspire to form a classy impression and are a far cry from the typical hotel buffet restaurant. • Our Executive suite was beautifully appointed and spacious. Further observations: • I really dislike accessing restaurant menus via a QR code on my phone, especially at dinner. For me, taking time to peruse the pages of a menu and deciding what to order, whilst sipping a drink, is as enjoyable as eating. The restaurant menu app has different drop-down sections and pictures of each dish on the menu. In all honesty, using my phone to scroll back and forth looking at photos of plates of food did not equate to a 5* dining experience and reminded me instead of ordering from a fast food outlet or from a child’s menu. Please, Voyage, bring back printed menus so I can keep my phone in my bag and off the table. • In the room I missed having somewhere to sit down and dry my hair in front of a mirror. Standing to apply make-up and dry my hair twice a day (after the gym and before dinner) is not ideal. • Only one pool was heated so it was always crowded and all the others were empty • We used the well-equipped gym 5 times. The music was usually deafening and, disappointingly for a 5* hotel, the lyrics were sometimes profane. • Comfortable cushioned sun loungers around the pools, as well as on the beach, would be very welcome. • The quality of service, menu choice and food at the Cuisine24 restaurant was very disappointing in comparison with all the chargeable a la carte restaurants. Despite these insignificant issues we had a truly amazing holiday in a breathtakingly idyllic location and would certainly consider a return visit. Without hesitation we whole-heartedly recommend Voyage Torba to families travelling with, or without, children.

Amazing holiday

Amazing hotel, relaxing and calm environment, buffet food was delicious and the service was great. The food quality is very high standard. All the staff are friendly and attentive. I can’t fault anything during this holiday stay! Truly perfect and I would come back again! A special thank you to Mehmet working in the fruit section of the buffet restaurant, he made our dining experience extra special by going the extra mile to cut us delicious fruit platters everyday! Very creative and deliciously sweet fruit variety! Thank you Mehmet! I have great pictures and memories! Hope to see you again soon.

Wonderful hotel, disappointing management

We stayed for 1 week at Voyage Torba in May 2024. The landscape, the Olive Garden rooms, the white houses and the well-cared-for green areas & vegetation makes it a SUPERB place. It is the most perfect and balanced mixture of Turkey & Greece. I enjoyed looking at every corner, it was beautiful. The fact that you stay in a separate house, away from noise and crowds, makes it so relaxing, quiet, intimate = the perfect conditions to have a good rest. We were given an upgrade & update for our room and the private little garden/terrace was an absolute gem. The food was also extremely good. We visited the A la Carte restaurants (extra payment needed). We liked the mexican one (Gracias) & the SteakHouse, where the meat was tender, juicy and delicious. At the Blue Voyage, even though the setting on the beach is beautiful, the food was mediocre. We recommend going to all the a la carte restaurants during breakfast & lunch. The beach bar staff were overwhelmingly polite, friendly and ready to bring you any drink you’d like, even a tailored one based on your request. I loved the fact that everything is served in glass (not plastic) and with paper straws. The beach & water are clean, the different options of sunbeds were amazing. The pattisserie with deserts was AMAZING! As dessert lovers, we were impressed with the macarons, millefeuile, and everything they had with hazelnut - simply divine. Our personal assistants- Diana and Nikolai, were amazing helpers. They were both lovely people, who helped with any tiny or big request, and were attentive to our wishes. Thank you both for your patience, effort and dedication. We left Voyage Torba remembering you and your high standard service, which brought a positive impact to the overall impression of our holiday. Hope to see you next time! What we didn’t like: In the main restaurant (Degusto) my husband ate olives with mold. Pictures attached. As soon as we discovered this, we took the plate and showed it to the Manager who was supervising the buffet restaurant. She treated it very lightly and removed the olives from the display after we insisted. She didn’t show any care. We complained to one of the General Managers about this, he was polite and apologised, greeted us every time we met afterwards, and send a bottle of wine and 3 apples as a room service gift, which was appreciated, but the disappointment came from experiencing this situation in such a place. The overall attitude was dismissive and lacking care, as we never expected to see such a critical food safety issue in a luxury, high end hotel. The cleaning in the room was pretty poor (the bed was made, plus toiletries and towels refilled). The room/bathroom was not properly cleaned, they left stains & splashes on the mirror, it looked very unprofessional. Our coffee cups were taken away and never replaced. The coffee capsules were refilled, but we didn’t have any cups for drinking that coffee:) this happened 3-4 days in a row. Had to reach for our assistant’s help. Due to the attitude of the management, the fact that we never got any update regarding our complaint (from the Manager or the Quality Chef of the restaurant) and the fact that my husband ate olives with mold (!!!) in a luxury and expensive hotel; plus, the questionable cleaning service, makes it a 4 out of 5 stars. In Bodrum, we also stayed at Titanic Luxury Collection, and we must say, that except the cosy rooms in the intimate, beautiful, white houses with private terraces, almost everything else was better at Titanic.

Amazing Bodrum Experience with Voyage Torba

Fabulous hotel with an attentive mindset to details! One of our favourite parts of the hotel was the QR code menus within the hotel and we defiantly used it a lot at the beach, as you can order via QR code in your own comfort. All staff members were super polite and professional. Food quality was amazing and patisserie section within the hotel was worth visiting as it defiantly gives you a feeling you are at a fancy boutique patisserie. The vibe of the hotel defiantly fits within the Bodrum vibe. I want to thank the whole amazing team within the hotel! Plus, Cansel and Gökçe for assisting us personally throughout our stay and making us feel at home. I will defiantly visit a Voyage group hotel again for sure! Recommending it everyone I know!

Wonderful Holiday

As a mature couple who have travelled extensively in 5 star hotels, we were initially apprehensive about visiting a family resort. We need not have worried. Voyage Torba caters for the needs of all age groups. Attentive staff were always present in all areas of the hotel. We must mention the bar staff at the Olive pool who knew what we wanted to drink before we did! Often, our drinks would be delivered as we arrived. Similarly, bar and waiting staff at the lobby bar of an evening, were so friendly and personable and always provided chocolates on ice to accompany our nightcap. The lobby bar and the Olive pool provided us the peace and quiet when we wanted it. Frequently, we had these areas all to ourselves - bliss! We tried the Wen and Vista a la carte restaurants of an evening and were more than satisfied. But, in all honesty, the food at Degusto was amongst the best buffet fayre we have sampled. A quiet, comfortable table could always be found and the service in Degusto was first class. Thank you for the fruit treats sent to our table. We had an Olive superior room and it was more than adequate for us - modern and minimalist. Above all, it was extremely clean, as was the entire hotel. Voyage Torba has beautifully kept grounds and it was a pleasure to walk around the different areas. It was easy and inexpensive to travel into Bodrum by dolmus. It stops literally outside the hotel. This was such a bonus for us as we like to get out and about but still like to return to the sanctuary of the hotel. Our Voyage Assistants set up a WhatsApp group for us and they helped with our a la carte bookings. We received daily information and they assisted in arranging a late check out for us. So thank you to Enes and Beyza - this made all the difference to our last day at the resort. Voyage Torba suited us perfectly at this time of the year, as did the weather. Great holiday, great staff. Thank you - we’ll be back.
