There are lots of Christmas traditions to discover in Turk and Caicos. As the big day approaches, the streets are elegantly decorated with Christmas lights. Locals spend Christmas Day with family whilst many restaurants are open and offer a special Christmas Dinner menu. On Christmas morning, Santa Clause steps off a 70-foot sailboat outside Grace Bay Club and hands out sweets to kids.

The Maskanoo party happens every year on Boxing Day. Maskanoo combines traditional elements from Junkanoo festivities and masquerades traits. The biggest celebrations can be found in Providenciales. A huge parade struts down Grace Bay Road, accompanied by lively music and dancers dressed in vibrant costumes. Numerous vendors also set up stalls selling food, drink, and gifts.

Even after Christmas and Boxing Day, there’s more festive cheer to be had in Grace Bay. On the 28th of December, the post-Christmas beach party kicks off on Grace Bay Beach. You can expect to try some tasty local food and watch kayak races. Make sure to bring your dancing shoes for the live music.

The vibrant Boxing Day Maskanoo celebrations take place in Grace Bay. There are also plenty of places to do your Christmas shopping in Grace Bay - Regent Village is perfect for upscale shopping. The Saltmills Plaza sits adjacent, this retail park has several apparel shops, art galleries and jewellery shops. Most Grace Bay hotels are a short walk from these complexes.
