Weather in Dubai during school holidays

February Half Term

February is a fantastic time to visit Dubai to take advantage of pleasantly warm temperatures, reaching highs of up to 26⁰C. Rain chances over four days, with comfortably cooler evenings.

Easter

Hot and balmy weather in April, average temperatures reach up to 34⁰C promising plenty of humid days with a little amount of rainfall. This time of the year has warm sea temperatures, idyllic for a splashing day at the beach.

May Half Term

The weather during the May half-term averages 37⁰C with 10 hours of sunshine per day. Be sure to get plenty of shade and use air conditioning!

Summer

If you’re not comfortable with high heat, we recommend avoiding travel during the summer; the average temperatures in June, July and August span from 30⁰-41⁰C. Its extremely hot climate can be unbearable for most travellers visiting at this time unless you spend the day lounging in the warm ocean, as the sea temperatures hover around 30⁰!

October Half Term

The weather in Dubai stays pleasant throughout October, with plenty of sunshine and humidity. There is very little rainfall, and temperatures sit at an average of 29⁰C.

Christmas & New Year

The weather throughout December and early January is pleasant, with average temperatures of 21⁰C. Small bursts of rain are usually expected in January, but there are plenty of sunny days and it’s the most popular time to visit Dubai. The evenings tend to get cooler; we recommend packing a light jacket if you plan on an evening outing.
