Hartweger's Ski & Snowboard Schule
Our ski school is based in Kaprun, but we offer lessons to those staying in Zell am See too! Our meeting points are in Maiskogel, right by the Schaufelberg bus station (at the foot of the Panoramabahn) and the Kitzsteinhorn Alpine Center (if snow conditions aren't great further down) so we are easy to reach and find! We offer group ski and snowboard lessons for all levels, in small groups of up to 5. If the group size is bigger on peak weeks, we will make the lesson time longer to ensure the best quality tuition. Lessons usually run from Sunday to Friday, with Saturday sessions available upon request. We have some super booking discounts and package deals!

Ski & Snowboardschule Zell am See
Learn to ski or snowboard, or develop your technique, in a group lesson with the Zell am See Ski & Snowboard School. We were founded in 1945 and have over a hundred instructors, making us one of Austria's biggest snowsport schools. Instructors are regularly trained to make your experience as good as possible. We have offices at the valley stations of the Areitbahn, cityXpress and Schmittenhöhe cable cars. Group classes are available Sunday - Thursday and can be booked with equipment to make things easier.

Whether on your own with your instructor, or with a family member / friend of a similar standard, our Private Lessons offer tuition that's tailored to your terms. It's up to you how much you want to learn and progress. We can offer several meeting times and places, depending on what works best for you - we can even meet you from your accommodation, and take you to other ski areas if you want to explore - like Kaprun & Kitzsteinhorn or Saalbach & Hinterglemm. Private lessons are great whether you want to learn, explore the ski area, have special training or go off piste.

Hartweger's Freeride Workshop
Ar Hartweger Ski School, our Freeride Workshops show you the wonderful Kitzsteinhorn over in Kaprun. In a group size of 2-6, led by an experienced guide or ski mountaineer, you will improve your freeriding technique and discover amazing descents - which have been carefully chosen in light of the avalanche rating and your ability. We will also be sure to check and explain all the avalanche safety gear before setting off. Sessions last 2.5 hours a day, morning and afternoon - and you can book a one off, or a 3 day course.
