Merinannies La Clusaz: Families coming to Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz who want to make the most of the skiing and the nightlife here should try out Merinannies. They have a large team of experienced, qualified childcare professionals who will charm your kids with their friendly, caring manner and the range of activities they offer, from ice skating for the older ones to gentle buggy strolls for the infants. You can rest easy knowing that the children are safe and having as good as time as you are. A lot of their nannies are skiers too, and 10 years’ worth of experience in the industry has taught them all about the challenges that children can pose in the organisation of a ski break. This means that they are fully flexible and organised enough to tailor to the specific requirements of your family, whether it’s full time or part time care, during the day or in the evening. Kids from 4 weeks old to 14 years old are catered for.

The Club des Mouflets in the village centre takes children from age 8 months to four years who don't want to ski or play outdoors. There are 34 places . For older children from age three and a half to six the ESF's Champion's Club gives first lessons in skiing and offers walks, snow games and indoor activities. During low season special deals are available for children including free rentals and lessons when a parent pays for lessons and rentals, and a free lift ticket when two adults in the group buy lift tickets for themselves. Many aspects of La Clusaz make it a child friendly resort, the tourist office even has a baby change room and loans board games free of charge. The resort's entertainment Agency stage a show at least once a week especially for children. All the accommodation letting agencies can loan cots/cribs and bedding and other baby equipment such as push chairs may be rented in the resort. The Beauregard and Confins areas are popular areas for families to build snowmen, try tobogganing or just have a winter walk along the signposted paths. For international guests the two factors to be wary of - in common with all French ski resorts, is that the system is primarily geared up to accommodate French children in the French system and the village centre can become very busy with traffic at peak periods.
