My Travelling Nanny is a modern-day, family-run agency supplying carefully selected nannies for the duration of your skiing holiday. Many previously employed as child-minders in resorts or on ski placements with families, their nannies know the best ways to thrill children in ski resorts, even if they’re too wee to ski.

If you want your children to learn and progress in the hands of absolute experts, book lessons with Azzurra Cortina Ski School.
The ski school is part of the Italian Ski Instructors Association and the International Ski Instructors Association. It has also won 16 Italian titles at the National Ski Instructors Championship.
The school’s national champions include ski legends Bruno Alberti, Gildo Siorpaes, Giovanni Dibona and Renzo Zandegiacomo and some of the guys here are national “ski professors” who train ski instructors.
Group courses are available for children up to 18 years old and take place in small groups (up to 5 for beginners and no more than 6 for higher abilities). Morning, afternoon and full day lessons are available. There are usually races at the end of the week where pupils can show off their skills.

Cortina day and evening care plus snow ski schools and babysitting.
Sadly Cortina's daycare facility, one of very few in Italian ski resorts, has closed. The ski school takes children from age four. Older children may enjoy the video bars, ice rink, cinema, video games room, swimming, tennis, horse riding, mountain biking on snow and numerous on-snow but not skiing/boarding activities on offer, most described elsewhere in this report.
