Schladming's hotels are just the ticket for a convenient week of skiing all round. One of our favourites is Alpinhotel Maistatt - with loads of Austrian character and access to the lifts and resort an easy walk or the ski bus which is two minutes away.  A real treat is the spa pool which extends to the outside.  TUI BLUE Schladming is always popular with families, across the road from the Planai Gondola and in the hub of the village. Meanwhile, Johann Posthotel in the medieval town centre, 3  minutes from the slopes, brings together alpine ambience with slick modern design.

The most commonly found catering option is half-board, where breakfast and supper are served up under one roof for the duration of your stay. Lunches can be easily found around the village and ski area, popular stop-offs including Julius on Martin-Luther-Strasse (lovely Italian food) and Schladminger Hütte on the Planai mountain station (hearty Austrian classics).
