The elegant Rimrock Resort Hotel is positioned on Sulphur Mountain, 750 feet above the town of Banff and offers a combination of superb hospitality and spectacular views. The free use of the ROAM buses offered by the town of Banff ensure that downtown Banff is a mere 10 minute drive away. It is an ideal place to stay for those seeking a little taste of spectacular Canadian wilderness but with easy access to Banff’s bustling town.

Built in the early 90’s, the Rimrock recreated that grand hotel style of the Canadian railway era when they were connecting the East and the West of this vast country. Marble and rich woods create a warm and inviting atmosphere and the high ceilings central roaring fireplace really enrich the atmosphere. The views of the mountain and valley are nothing short of breath-taking. The two hotel restaurants offer a choice of dining, the Eden which has won a 5 diamond award for its fine dining experience (dinner only) and the Primrose which has a more casual and relaxed feel, and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Larkspur Lounge is a relaxed, informal environment and perfect for a drink by the fireplace and the Divas is a glamorous Martini Lounge with famous movie stars adorning the walls, Guests at the Rimrock can also enjoy the hotel’s own spa which has a large indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam rooms, spa treatments, a fitness facility, and squash courts.

From simple modern clean lines to grander ‘old world’, deep, dark woods there are rooms to cater for everyone’s taste. Each has a different view of the mountain and across the Bow valley. TVs, telephone, a tea and coffee maker, mini fridge, come as standard and Wifi is free throughout the hotel.
