Even if you’re only holidaying for a few days, Verbier’s well worth a visit. The setup of the ski area gives you excellent chances of enjoying good conditions, reaching up to 3330m with top notch snowmaking on the most important slopes. If you want to experience the off piste, book a mountain guide before you set off and they’ll show you some of the greatest powder descents on the planet.
Off the mountain, Verbier’s après ski is legendary, with the Farinet and Farm Club as magnets for young, old, rich and royal.
Getting here from Geneva airport (GVA) takes about two hours on the road, and you can make sure your time in resort goes smoothly by pre-booking ski passes and equipment hire.
Choose between chalets and hotels when it comes to accommodation – both tend to include meals in the overall package which saves you having to budget and book tables in resort. Some come with spa facilities, making for a wonderful welcome home after a day on the hill.
