Chalet Les Etrennes Summary

This six bedroom chalet occupies an idyllic location on Verbier’s Savoleyres side. Its south-west facing position captures long hours of winter light, with uninterrupted views stretching from Verbier’s town below to the distant peaks of the Mont Blanc massif. Chalet Les Etrennes feels both private and peaceful, yet only moments from the slopes with our 24 hour driving service, ensuring each day unfolds effortlessly.

Arranged over four floors, Chalet Les Etrennes comfortably sleeps up to twelve guests, with a dedicated team working seamlessly in the background to provide a discreet yet entirely personal stay.

The chalet is centered around the top floor, where a double-height living space opens up and sunlight spills through expansive windows. It's designed as much for slow mornings with coffee as it is for evenings by the fire - where canapes are served and cocktails are poured. Sliding doors lead out to the terrace, an ideal spot to soak up the winter sun, while the cosy TV room or the peaceful nook of the mezzanine library offer more intimate corners to retreat to. The private chef creates tailored menus in the open-plan kitchen, best savoured at the dining table whilst taking in the stunning backdrop of the surrounding peaks.

A welcoming entrance hall on the ground floor leads to a private ski room, where boots are warmed and equipment is neatly stored in readiness for the next day’s adventure. On the first floor, a private hammam invites deep relaxation and across the hallway, two bedrooms await, configured as either twins or doubles, each with their own en suite. On the second floor, the master bedroom is quietly indulgent, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing the alpine views, a calming dressing area and a beautiful en suite with a double sink, bath and separate shower. Three further en suite bedrooms complete this floor, each opening onto the wrap-around terrace, where an outdoor hot tub sits discreetly for post-ski rejuvenation.

Established in 1937, posh party town Verbier covers a sunny plateau slap bang in the middle of Switzerland’s 4 valleys – which just happens to be one of Europe’s biggest and best ski areas. The easy-on-the-eye architecture’s a pretty mix of wood and slate, but it’s what you’ll find within some of these walls that’ll blow your socks off… Blending in with dozens of classic chalets and ski hotels, this place has some of the most luxurious lodgings on the planet. Some hotels come with designer suites an...
Besides being famous for its off-piste routes, Verbier’s well groomed slopes are well known as some of the most challenging in the Alps. Although it mainly attracts intermediate, advanced and expert level skiers seeking adventurous off-piste and steeps experience, the 37 local pistes covering 100km provide for all abilities. The resort has three areas specifically for beginners, including the gentle slopes at Les Moulins, which has a children’s area and Les Esserts, with its 120m magic carpet. Those with a b...
Many say Verbier’s après is the main reason to visit – it’s certainly some of the best in the world and if you want to increase the odds of bumping into Prince Harry or Leonardo di Caprio on the dance floor, there’s no better place to party. From a good old pint in a lively pub (we love Nelson’s and Pub Mont Fort) to swanky cocktails with the socialites at Cordee de Alps, the nightlife is wonderfully varied. An absolute legend is the Farinet - with a huge sliding roof, a commanding position over the mai...
