This family run hotel focuses on friendly service and Tyrolean decor to help bring to life a true Austrian experience. Central located in Westendorf, this hotel mirrors many of the qualities of the village, charm, tradition and a cosy atmosphere. Hotel Jakobwirt has chosen natural materials and local craftsmanship in its design, helping it compliment the surrounding Kitzbuehl Alps. From here you can easily walk to the beginner slopes or take a 4 minute walk to the Alpenrose gondola which give you access to the huge Ski welt ski area.

A great advantage of Westendorf’s position is the fact that slopes there are generally quieter than on the main SkiWelt circuit due to the majority of the skiing being on the other side of the valley between Brixen and Scheffau. The après is lively but compared with nearby Kitzbühel it’s more contained and family oriented. That being said there are some great places to have a drink and unwind after a day on the slopes.
