The hotel was really, really good – I had a single room and for a single, it was quite spacious, you could easily fit a double bed in there.
They had a sauna and a swimming pool but I didn’t use them.
Something that is quite beneficial for a non smoker is that the Jacobwirt has the only bar in the town that’s a non smoking bar.
I had half board and the food was really good, lots of traditional dishes.
The hotel is probably a 10-15 minute walk to the main lift (not steep, just a normal pathway). As it’s right in the town centre, everything is nearby and the bus station is next door if you want to go further afield.
