Westerndorf - the perfect family ski village

Just the very very best family resort - the slopes are gentle and fun, with just a few taxing ones for the more experienced. A superb place for a family with children who want to learn to ski and really enjoy the beautiful Austrian mountains and villages. The Hotel Post absolutely perfectly situated just across from the snow - no lugging things around - everything's there. The village ambiance of Westerndorf is just so welcoming - everyone is your friend and you leave with many many happy memories. Such a family atmosphere I wasn't at all surprised to find that my ski instructor also played a trumpet in the local brass band who put on an Austrian evening for us all :)
