Chalets are part and parcel of a ski holiday in the Alps. Lasting friendships are made round those open, wood-fires, while large groups can book one out for a lodge of their very own. The returns from sub-zero slopes to tea and dinner made by your chalet-host are one of the ultimate skiing experiences.
Don’t be deterred if there aren’t any holidays with chalets available in Les Carroz. Check out our self-catered apartments for some wonderfully located properties (the Sunotel overlooks the main square!). Each comes with its own kitchenette, so you can save Euros and make like a local a few nights a week.
Alternatively, we do have some super chalets in Flaine, which is in the same Grand Massive ski area and has a reputation for the best snow in the area. The Chalet Ibex and Chalet Marmot above the centre of Flaine feel end-of-the road, but they’re just minutes either way from piste or town centre.
