Apartments are self-catered with their own kitchen facilities. Many have reception staff but there won’t usually be staff servicing your apartment on a daily basis (though sometimes you can request this as an add-on). Apartments are smaller and you book the entire unit and won’t be sharing with other guests.

Yes! Usually reception and housekeeping staff. If you book one of our Swiss packages including flights and transfers, you’ll often have a resort rep on hand. Don’t forget we’re always on the other end of the phone if you need anything.

Sometimes Swiss apartments have onsite childcare such as a crèche or kids club. If not, you can always book a private nanny or babysitter, or enrol the kids in a nearby kindergarten or ski school.

Yes, if you’re shopping in the big Swiss hypermarkets and cooking your own meals, apartment holidays will usually work out the cheapest. If you don’t want to do the cooking, a hotel or chalet with catering will probably work out cheaper as Swiss mountain restaurant bills can hike up a holiday cost.
