Hotel Somont is run by the lovely Rudiferia family and we’re confident that you’ll have a great stay here. They work tirelessly to create a welcoming atmosphere and the hotel has been beautifully maintained. It’s constantly being updated - the newest addition is the spa. It’s a great space with a heated indoor pool, whirlpool with colour therapy lights and a lot of saunas. There’s a traditional Finnish sauna, Bio sauna, Infrared aromatherapy sauna and a Turkish steam bath. It couldn’t be better for after a day on the Dolomite’s walking and cycling trails.
The rest of the hotel feels quite modern. We love the rooms with their faux fur throws, alabaster stag heads and pine floors. Each one is styled differently with intricate wallpapers and small touches that make you feel at home. They’ve all got private balconies too with stunning views of the mountains.
The best thing about staying here is the food - the restaurant Somont describes itself as taking guests on an Alpine culinary journey and they only use ingredients found within the South Tyrol region. The wines are all from the hotel's own wine cellar and have been carefully selected by the family.
