Hotel Fontana is in Amalfi's Piazza Duomo, right in the centre of town. The small, historic building has simple rooms decorated in Mediterranean blues and whites. They have views across the piazza so you can watch the hustle and bustle of the town from the peace and quiet of your room.

You'll be in prime position- here to discover the treasures of the Amalfi Coast. Both the bus station and ferry port are close to the hotel so you can take to the scenic costal roads to visit towns and villages like Positano, Ravello, Maiori and Minori. You can even hop on a boat across to glamorous Capri for the day. There's some great walking trails about too - if that's your kind of thing be sure to pack your boots. The hike up through the lemon groves to Valle delle Ferriere waterfalls is one of our favourites.

Breakfast at the hotel is really good with a wide choice of continental options. In the evenings you'll have the chance to try out Amalfi's food scene. There are lots of nice restaurants nearby. The staff are really friendly and helpful so check with them for the best local recommendations.
