Cesare Augusto is one of those hotels where you feel instantly at home. It's right in the centre of Sorrento and when you step off the busy pavement and into the hotel's lobby, the staff instantly make you feel relaxed. They're incredibly helpful and more than willing to share their favourite things to see and do in the area. The location's perfect for exploring. Being next to Piazza Tasso means you won't have to walk far to see Sorrento's shops, bars and restaurants. The beach is just a ten-minute walk away too and we recommend heading to the coast one evening to eat in one of the seafood restaurants. If you want to go further afield, jump on a boat to Capri or Ischia for the day or head round the corner to the train station and explore Pompeii or Naples.

Back at the hotel you can expect stunning views - we love the panoramic rooftop garden and the outdoor pool. Both have views of the sea. There's a nice, relaxing bar for a pre-dinner drink. You can take it onto the terrace in time for the sunset. Rooms are traditional and quite spacious. They've all got a private balcony too.
