The Panther is a really nice hotel and we all had a great week. It’s quite a big hotel and we were a group of 14-16 – it suited us fine.
It’s very central – 2 minutes from one main lift and about 5 minutes from the next. We skied almost back to the back door, you just had to go down a few steps and you were in the hotel. Right next door there’s a nightclub which wasn’t at all noisy, but when the hotel bar shut we could all pile in there for a couple more drinks.
Loved the pool which had a little tunnel that took you to a pool outdoors. Some of the girls used the sauna and steam rooms in the evenings too.
The food was great! There was always a choice and you pre ordered the breakfast/night before. The menu always had something for everyone and the whole group always seemed happy, we all got to sit together every night which was another bonus.
Everyone seemed happy with their rooms; myself and one other person in the group had single rooms which we were very pleased with.
We tend to stay in different resorts every year but if we were coming back to Saalbach we would look at staying here again.
